How it all began

Little Angels was an idea which was born in January 2017. It came as a result of my 20 years of teaching Primary school children and being asked the question from parents as to what they could do to help their children at home. I thought that I could put together different collections which would benefit different skill areas such as fine motor skills, writing, maths etc. My major concern was that I was a teacher, not a business woman. How could I possibly make such a big jump and give up the job which I loved? I first of all started by sourcing a few items and putting together some sample bags. Now I needed some willing volunteers to test them. My local preschool was very helpful in putting the word out and soon I had a group of marketing researches and their willing children. The feedback I got was so positive that it made me realise that Little Angels was potentially a very good idea. So the work began in earnest, finding wholesalers, a website designer, manufacturers for the actual bags etc. Next I made the big step and handed in my notice at Easter. A photoshoot was set up for June as I wanted the photos on my website to be unique. It was a very hot day but the children involved were true professionals.

Then came the job of purchasing the stock and sorting it all out ready to make up the collections.  Sorting out over 500 minibeasts was particularly time consuming!

I then got my first Little Angels customer thank you Sarah from Doncaster!

I must say that none of this would not have been possible without the outstanding support from my: husband/accountant/technical support/marketing manager and any other job that he needs to do.

Little Angels is now ready to go live and I can’t wait to see what the future brings!
